Self- Catering Rates: From £120 per night

Self-Catering minimum stay is 3 nights. (Subject to availability, consideration will be given to a 1 or 2-night stay depending on individual circumstances.)

To secure a booking, we require a non-refundable 25% deposit payable by BACS transfer and the remaining amount payable on arrival. (Refunds for cancellations will be treated based on the reason for cancellation and our ability to re-let the property on these dates.)

Arrival Time is from 4 pm and departure time 10 am.

As our accommodation is mainly Self- Catering, we do not normally provide breakfasts or evening meals. (Subject to availability we make exceptions for cyclists, walkers or others and will provide for them by arrangement at an agreed nightly rate.)

Smoking or vaping is not permitted within the premises.

Dogs are not allowed with the exception of service/guide dogs.

Charging of electric cars or bicycles can be done only by arrangement and will incur an additional cost.

Prior arrangement is necessary to cater for guests with special needs or requirements.

Self Catering Apartment
Cnoc Nan Uan, a traditional croft house which has been the family home for several generations, has been renovated and modernised to a very high standard.‘Cnoc Nan Uan’ is a Gaelic name and translates as ’Hillock of the Lambs’. ‘Cnoc’ = ‘Hillock’ (or Mound); ‘Nan Uan’ = 'of the Lambs’.The Hillock (or mound) is on the croft behind the house. The Croft is known for its lushness and has had a history of producing good-quality lambs. Our location on the west side of North Uist is renowned for its stunning sandy beaches. The beautiful Hosta and Hougharry beaches are both within walking distance. Some beautiful sunrises, sunsets and rainbows may be seen. We are the ideal venue for those who want a true getaway break.

Kitchen Facilities
Facilities and equipment include an electric cooker with oven, 4-ring induction hob and cooker hood, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, clothes horse, iron and ironing board, Freeview TV/DVD, kettle, toaster, good selection of dishes, cutlery, utensils, glasses, pots and pans.
We will be happy to provide any other item upon request. There is also an outdoor clothesline. The kitchen always provides tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and biscuits.
